Elizabeth Juge

Elizabeth Juge arrived at Newcomb College expecting that her well-rounded liberal arts education would prepare her for the modern world. Newcomb and Tulane gave her that and much more. It prepared her for many iterations of her professional career, most recently as a national-level creator of written communications that place top government leaders in the most prominent echelons of federal service. While working full-time in this role, she remains devoted to her husband and children, now shepherding her three children through excellent educations of their own. Tulane prepared Elizabeth for other passionate work that has brought her back into the University community. While volunteering in several key positions in the Junior League of New Orleans—including as Community Assistance Fund Chair and twice on the organization’s Nominating Committee—she helped fundraise for local schools, held a leadership position in her neighborhood association, and welcomed Tulane students into her home for a dinner with 12 Tulanians. More recently, she chaired the gala auction for the American Cancer Society and New Orleans Hope Lodge and is contributing now to Boys Hope Girls Hope. Through these endeavors, Elizabeth reconnected with friends who introduced her to TUWA. She has served on the TUWA board for several years, including as President. The past two years, she has been proud to help TUWA broaden its reach on campus, particularly in partnership with other Tulane faculty and staff affinity groups, commonly known as ALAAMEA. Elizabeth is unwaveringly committed to the advancement of the causes most relevant and most urgently needed within TUWA, on campus, and throughout New Orleans
